Tire chains got a boost from the cold weather.

Brittney Hibdon, a sales associate at Knecht’s Auto Parts, said the store had a definite increase of traffic as people scrambled to get their cars ready for the roads. The store’s tire chain shelf had only a few remaining choices by Monday.
