Apple to build solar array in Central Oregon

The California-based tech company plans to build a large solar array in Prineville.

Apple’s solar array in Prineville would apparently mirror a 20-megawatt solar array that opened in 2012 adjacent to Apple’s data center in North Carolina. Apple had planned a second, matching solar array on the same site to open late in 2013. It’s not clear whether it actually has.
