As the state legislature works out a final budget deal, bills dwindle and the session’s end is near.
While folks are waiting, legislative leaders are still keeping members on a pretty easy schedule. The Joint Ways and Means Committee will run through a long list of budget-related bills Friday but every other committee is off.
The House will try to clear away some of its big backlog of bills while the full Senate is recessed until Monday.
