Washington and Oregon signed agreements with two manufacturers that would be impacted by the proposed Columbia River Crossing.
Oregon Iron Works and Greenberry Industrial signed the agreements to mitigate the potential impacts of the bridge. The states have also been in discussions with a third manufacturer.
The states did not disclose the details of the agreements. The proposed bridge will have a maximum height of 116 feet, so shipments from the two companies could be impacted by the span.
