Portland biodiesel producer SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel landed a waste cooking oil recycling agreement with numerous Seattle companies.

It helps that those institutions, particularly the Seattle Mariners’ Safeco Field and the Seattle Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field, happen to be fried food-selling meccas SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel will gather used cooking oil from the two stadiums along with vendors at Pike Place Market, the University of Washington and Taco Time Corp.

Tyson Keever, SeQuential’s general manager, said the agreements with the large Seattle institutions will yield huge growth. SeQuential plans to collect more than 1.5 million gallons of new oil from the arrangements.
