Salem-based UltraTape Industries introduced a new product to use in freezing conditions.

The product, SubZero tape and labels, was primarily designed for use in food processing distribution centers, company officials said.

The product bonds to surfaces at below freezing temperatures, an environment where standard tapes and labels won’t stick and painting is impossible.
