Intel has been calling Washington County residents with a survey about tax incentives.
The calls follow close on the heels of new tax assurances that Nike won during a special legislative session last month. Intel is eligible for similar assurances (though the first draft of the Legislature’s bill excluded the chipmaker), but said it hasn’t decided whether to apply.
Intel says its phone survey is “business as usual,” and does not signal a push for new tax breaks.
