Nike plans to work with an organization called TechStars to open a technology incubator in Portland that will help entrepreneurs develop technology for Nike+ products.

The Nike program will run from March into June; the company said it hasn’t chosen a specific location yet, and indicated that it hasn’t decided whether it will repeat the program in the future.

Nike+ participants will work with mentors including Stefan Olander, Nike’s vice president of Digital Sport; David Cohen, TechStars founder and chief executive; and Naveen Selvadurai, co-founder of Foursquare.
