Digital advertising content specialist AKQA is opening an office in Portland to serve Nike, one of its largest clients.
The satellite office will be located at 1120 NW Couch, Suite 650, in the Pearl District, and initially employ about a dozen people, said Tom Bedcarre, chairman of the San Francisco-based company. More hires are expected.
“This is an opportunity for us to be closer to Nike and tap the talent pool in Portland,” Bedcarre said in an interview with The Oregonian. “We’re growing a lot and we’d love to tap into the talent market.”
