The posters also illustrate Venture Portland’s rebranding push as it transitions from its former name, the Alliance of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations. The organization recently introduced a new website that details its programs and neighborhood events.
The nonprofit advocates for and trains neighborhood business districts, which it says encompass 16,000 businesses and represent nearly 200,000 jobs. Small businesses maintain 84 percent of the city’s workers on their payrolls, Mayor Sam Adams has said.
