Cliff Wyland of Sound Advice Systems has grown his passion for music into a profitable sound-mixing business.

Cliff Wyland got his start in the music industry in the 1980s, when he played guitar and keyboard and operated the mixing board for Blue Island Band and, later, Sister Southpaw.

Now, Wyland, 53, owns and operates Sound Advice Systems in Bend. It sets up systems for Midtown Ballroom, the Domino Room, Munch & Music, Munch & Movies, Clear Summer Nights and Bend Summer and Fall Fests.
