New Zealand sportswear manufacturer Icebreaker, which moved its headquarters to the Pearl District last year, and homegrown outdoor clothing maker Nau earned shout outs as two of “11 industry leaders doing their part” for the environment. For what it’s worth, both also ranked higher on the magazine’s “GREEN-O-METER” than outdoor retailer REI (take that, Seattle!) and California-based clothing company Patagonia.

The site, developed by Texas-based EnviroMedia Social Marketing and the University of Oregon’s journalism school, provides an interactive forum for evaluating environmental claims made in ads. Bonus: Any trash you talk won’t make its way into the landfill.
