The 2012 Ecotrust Indigenous Leadership Awards will be held Nov. 13 at the Portland Art Museum. This year’s winners are begin honored for their dedicated leadership in strengthening the region’s economic and environmental conditions.
Since 2001, Ecotrust has presented 48 tribal leaders with cash awards to further their mission to preserve indigenous culture, lands, and waters throughout the Northwest, with one finalist receiving $25,000 and four honorees receiving $5,000.
