Swedish retail giant H&M will open its third Portland area store at the Clackamas Town Center this summer.
The stores in downtown Portland and Washington Square have proven big hits with cost-conscious shoppers.
H&M’s opening at Pioneer Place in mid-November drew crowds of young people that wrapped around the three-floored store and crossed Southwest Third Avenue. The store, which features clothing and accessories for women, men and children, celebrated one of the chain’s bigger openings in the United States, a spokeswoman said at the time.
Early morning walkers at Clackamas Town Center today were some of the first to see the new H&M signs hanging from the walled-over windows of three empty stores. The Clackamas H&M will be located on the mall’s lower level between Victoria’s Secret and Sephora.
