Mike Pullen was a residential remodeler when he realized his real calling was with quick and sustainable bamboo.

With his new showroom opening in Portland, he hopes to show customers the many non-ornamental uses of the plant.

Today, Pullen’s company, Bamboo Revolution, uses the fast-growing material to make items such as panels and flooring for the building industry, suitcases and pens.
