The Legislature’s special session came to an end with a budget bill guaranteeing $6 billion to protect schools and an uneasy agreement over annual meetings.

The Legislature wrapped up the session ahead of the Feb. 28 deadline and passed more than 100 of the 215 bills considered through both chambers.
