Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) hasn’t been able to mold a profitable business out of the mobile units, and so, as a spokesperson told Bloomberg, the company decided “to accelerate the implementation and create some efficiency so that we can move even faster.”
The report added that Intel’s mobile unit recorded an operating loss of $1.04 billion for the third quarter, with revenue of only about $1 million.
