The residents of the Cully neighborhood hope to turn the building into something to benefit the families and children.

Parents were excited when the saw the building housing the Sugar Shack go up for sale. Several strip clubs have long operated out of the Town Center Plaza in northeast Portland.

The seller accepted the group’s offer. They have 90 days to line up financing for the nearly $3 million purchase.
