Long-standing tech exec retires

Rich Bader, CEO of EasyStreet Online Services, worked in the tech industry for 40 years.

EasyStreet hired Jon Thomsen – formerly CEO of a utility services company called Ecos, and once an executive at Enron Broadband – to take over. Bader, who remains on EasyStreet’s board and is its second-largest shareholder, said EasyStreet’s new management and investors intend to grow the company – perhaps breaking out of its local niche in the Portland area, a step Bader said he had resisted but now embraces, given the company’s new resources and management.
