Oregon’s film office sold $4 million worth of tax credits during an online auction to fund subsidies for movie and tv productions in Oregon.

And this year, there will be a lot more money to go around. Lawmakers expanded the program in July as part of an 11th-hour deal, increasing the fund’s annual cap from $6 million to $10 million.

Vince Porter, who directs the Governor’s Office of Film & Television, said the October auction brought in more than $3.97 million from 131 winning bidders. The results became available this week.
