Chaves Consulting, Inc. (CCI) celebrated its’ 25th year in business this year.   For most of the years, CCI built its business and reputation by employing one to two people to develop software for Oregon cities and counties.   Five years ago, founder Richard Chaves decided that he wanted to create jobs for Baker County citizens through diversifying what CCI delivers.

OREGON BUSINESS has been named one of the top three business-to-business magazines in the country, under 80,000 circulation, by the American Society of Business Publication Editors, in one of the largest business publication competitions in the U.S.
"Everything a regional publication should be," the judges said in making the award.
