“It’s an honor to serve as President for the Society, and to provide leadership in honoring the unique history of the U.S. District Court of Oregon,” said Engbloom.

The central mission of the Society is to preserve and celebrate the history of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, accomplished through the taking of oral histories of judges and other individuals who have made their mark on the court. The Society also presents famous case lectures/CLEs and related programming. Each year, the Society holds a picnic and dinner to recognize and honor those who have contributed to Oregon’s legal heritage.
