Isis Harris is a great example of what a woman can do if handed the tools and given the opportunity. She is an especially driven lady, and my hat is off to her. I also appreciate the many men and women across the country who work in Construction every day, many hours in 'not so lovely environments' to keep our buildings, roads, bridges and infrastructure working. I am honored to have work 40 years in construction with so many men and women, who, like Isis, 'keep on keeping on' in spite of life's challenges and what others throw at them. The first time I met Isis, I asked her what her name meant (The 4 letters ISIS having so many negative impressions in today's world) and she said, 'I found a source that said it means Egyptian Goddess, and I am going to go with that!!' WE have to believe in ourselves if we expect others to believe in us. Go Woman!!
