World Order by Henry Kissinger, a look at the global environment, how it has changed in the last 500 years and the implications for the world today. Walter Isaacson’s The Innovators, the history of the digital revolution, starting with Ada Lovelace to today’s entrepreneurs.

What I’m watching
Silver Linings Playbook and Frozen. Silver Linings is a great example of excellent acting and making the story both human and understandable. It mixes humor and sadness. What I love about Frozen is to watch the 4-, 5-, 6- and 7-year-old kids come out of the movie singing with such joy.
Business role model
Jim Collins, author of Good to Great and other business books. Collins does a wonderful job turning theory into practical examples. All leaders are challenged to have the right people on the team. Someone once asked Collins, “How do you know the person is the right fit?” His answer was, “When you look at the individuals whom you have assembled on the team, ask yourself: Would you hire them today? There usually is a clear answer.”
