Brewtoppers’ growth is matching the growing popularity in home beer brewing. Gary Glass, director of the American Homebrewers Association, said 2010 saw 16 percent growth in gross revenue at homebrew retailers; he also estimates there’s at least 750,000 home brewers nationwide.
Though they’ve sold caps to brewers in Israel and the Netherlands, [owner Ben] Potter and [president Jonathan] Haase hope to continue marketing to home brewers and brewing suppliers nationally and internationally. They also hope to hire another worker to do all their printing.
