Xerox Corp. offered a buyout to 120 of its Wilsonville workers as an alternative to their transfer to HCL Technologies, an Indian contractor.

Xerox Corp. offered a buyout to 120 of its Wilsonville workers as an alternative to their transfer to HCL Technologies, an Indian contractor.

Xerox has about 1,500 Wilsonville employees, and 134,000 worldwide. The company said that it’s considering the transfer of 600 employees altogether if it proceeds with the HCL deal.

Wilsonville workers have 45 days from June 1 to decide whether to take Xerox up on its buyout offer, according to the company, or to accept transfer to HCL.
