Portland-based Integra Telecom laid off 75 employees this month as it shifted its business in hopes of attracting big corporate clients.

The company’s revenue has been declining modestly since the start of the recession, falling 3.6 percent last year to $616 million. 

Integra made its job cuts May 12 in conjunction with its new strategy, according to John Nee, vice president for corporate communications. Nee said cutbacks came across the company, at all locations.

“It was in response to realignment, but we’ve got a lot of open positions and there’s a lot more in the pipeline,” he said.
