Oregon is ranked fifth out of the top 10 states for LEED-certified buildings.

Oregon is ranked fifth out of the top 10 states for LEED-certified buildings, according to a tally by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Oregon had 4.07 square feet of LEED-certified commercial and institutional green buildings per capita, according to 2010 U.S. Census data.

Topping the list was the District of Columbia, which had 25.15 square feet per capita.
