Subaru announced plans to move into a new space more than double the size of its current location in October.

The new $20 million auto parts warehouse and West Coast distribution center will be located in the Rivergate industrial park of North Portland.

The warehouse will be built on 19 acres owned by the Port. Portland developer Trammell Crow Co. will build the facility.

“We had several critical requirements for our new facility; it had to be highly efficient and state of the art,” Stephen Gale, Subaru of America director of corporate facilities, said in a news release. “We were also very pleased that the property will meet LEED standards, reflecting our commitment to the community and the environment.”
