Democratic Rep. David Wu won a surprisingly easy victory over Republican Rob Cornilles in a race that was expected to be tight in Oregon’s 1st District.

Wu is persistently painted as the most vulnerable incumbent among Oregon’s U.S. House candidates, but succeeded in the Democratic-leaning district to win a seventh term.
