And, though you wouldn’t guess it now, the 1965 Bristol Lodekka double-decker bus that houses her brand-new dress shop was a cruddy gem when she found it in April.
“It was totally falling apart,” Sutherland recalls. But she saw the potential in the beat-up, towering old beast. This week, after months of scrubbing, scraping and sweating, Sutherland is celebrating a dream come true by opening Lodekka, double-decker dress shop, on the corner of North Williams Avenue and Failing Street.
