Ashland-based Brammo introduced its 2011 e-motorcycle which can travel 80 miles on a single charge, double the range of the previous model.

The 2011 Enertia Plus is listed at $8,995 and will be available sometime next year. Brammo will offer a $2,500 rebate for buyers who have purchased other bikes from the company.

“The Enertia Plus is basically the bike we know and love with twice the range,” said Adrian Stewart, marketing director for Brammo. “So many people have commutes in the range of 50 to 60 miles. They’re the ones we had in mind when we developed this bike.”
