Unemployment rates in all three Central Oregon counties increased in July.
Oregon’s statewide unemployment rate was 10.6%.
Crook County’s jobless rate was 17.7%, an increase of 1.4 percentage points. Deschutes County’s unemployment rate was 14.8%, a .7 percentage point increase. And Jefferson County’s unemployment rate was 1.1 percentage points higher at 14.5%.
