Last year Spears branched out with a vengeance by launching Smuggle Portland, a high-end, cannabis-related accessories designed for women and Baby Boomers.

Not to be outdone, Smuggle this week became one of the first Oregon cannabis companies to raise money under the state’s community public offering rule.  Smuggle is raising $250,000 to transform their online store into a flagship retail location in Portland.

Spears said in a press release:

“Baby Boomers and women are fast growing segments in cannabis. They don’t want to visit a headshop with black lights and blacked-out windows. We’re offering them a welcoming and elegant experience, both at our retail location and online. We want to help them stay healthy and conscious with products that epitomize the Pacific Northwest, cannabis lifestyle.”
