Those figures don’t include self-employed workers. Oregon had 16,163 self-employed tech workers last year — about 15 percent of the state’s total tech employment, the report found.
CompTIA, a nonprofit trade association based near Chicago, released the 2016 Cyberstates report, which contains a trove of statistics, including figures for each state.
