NuScale Power can retain its employees for now in spite of an ongoing investigation into the Corvallis company’s main investor, a court ruled.

NuScale Power can retain its employees for now, a court ruled.

NuScale is running at a reduced capacity after the SEC filed a civil suit against the company’s key investor, the Michael Kenwood Group.

NuScale cut back operations last week but retained its 100 employees in Corvallis, Portland and Richland, Wash.

“In terms of employees, everyone’s still working,” chief marketing officer Bruce Landrey said Monday.

Meanwhile, NuScale is pursuing fresh sources of investment. Landrey said the company considers its prospects of new funding to be “excellent” based on past conversations with prospective investors.
