[The next big thing for Intel is] Security. The question is how we take what is fundamentally an open platform in many of these consumer-electronics devices and make it secure. We’ve got open software with something like Android. We’ve got app stores and people downloading apps. It’s the Wild Wild West.
How do we take an open platform and selectively close it, protect crucial parts of the code from attack and keep secrets even if the software is compromised? It seems like an impossible task. But we think we know how to do it.
