Venture Portland announced its new Board of Directors, tasked with steering the organization into its fourth decade of operation. The 25-person board listing is available here.

Stepping into semi-retirement himself, Touchmark Founder Werner Nistler, Jr. will relinquish his CEO duties to Marcus Breuer. Based in Beaverton, Touchmark develops and operates retirement communities across the nation. Nistler will still serve as board chairman.

Klamath Falls aims to improve its retail flow with a conference aimed at consultants seeking new markets on behalf of companies looking to expand. The conference ends today, but if it worked, at least the site selectors know where Klamath Falls is.
